Player Participant Agreement

By joining this poker league and participating in league events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.
1. Eligibility
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. Participation in league events is limited to individuals who meet this age requirement. The league administrator reserves the right to verify your age at any time.
2. Nature of Play
This is a free-to-play social poker league. No real-money gambling takes place during league events. Points, rankings, and prizes (if any) are awarded based on tournament performance. Any prizes offered are at the sole discretion of the league administrator and/or venue partners and are not guaranteed.
3. Code of Conduct
You agree to:
- Conduct yourself in a respectful, sportsmanlike manner at all times during league events.
- Follow the rules established by the league and the tournament director.
- Respect the property and staff of host venues.
- Refrain from any form of cheating, collusion, or unsportsmanlike behavior.
- Comply with all applicable laws while participating in league activities.
Violation of this code of conduct may result in suspension or permanent removal from the league at the discretion of the league administrator.
4. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that participation in league events is voluntary. You assume all risks associated with attending league events at host venues, including but not limited to risks of personal injury, property damage, or loss. You understand that events take place at third-party venues and that neither the league nor Bar Poker Technologies, Inc. controls, owns, or operates these venues.
5. Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and discharge the league, its administrators, tournament directors, the host venue, and Bar Poker Technologies, Inc. from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation in league events, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, emotional distress, or any other loss, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
6. Personal Information and Privacy
By joining the league, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as follows:
- Required Information: Your name and email address are collected to create your player account and facilitate league communications.
- Public Display: Your name, player number, tournament results, rankings, and statistics may be displayed publicly on the league website, leaderboards, and event results pages.
- League Communications: The league administrator may contact you via email regarding league events, schedule changes, and announcements.
- Data Management: Your data is managed through the Bar Poker Manager platform and is subject to the Bar Poker Manager Privacy Policy.
If you wish to have your personal information removed, please contact your league administrator. Removal of your information may affect your league membership, standings, and historical records.
7. Photography and Media
You acknowledge that photographs, videos, or other media may be captured during league events. By participating, you grant the league and its administrators a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use such media for league promotion, social media, and the league website. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the tournament director at the event.
8. League Suspension and Removal
The league administrator reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any player from the league for any reason, including but not limited to violation of the code of conduct, disruptive behavior, or failure to comply with league rules. Decisions regarding suspension or removal are at the sole discretion of the league administrator and are final.
9. Modifications
The league administrator may update these terms at any time. Continued participation in league events after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Platform Terms
Your use of the Bar Poker Manager platform is also subject to the Platform Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict between this Participant Agreement and the Platform Terms, the Platform Terms shall prevail.
